أكد الإيطالي سيموني إنزاغي، مدرب فريق الهلال الأول لكرة القدم، أن فريقه كان يستحق الخروج بشباك نظيفة من أمام فريق الغرافة القطري في اللقاء الذي انتهى بفوز الهلال بهدفين لهدف وذلك ضمن منافسات دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة.
وقال إنزاغي: «بالتأكيد لم نكن نريد استقبال الهدف، وربما كانت هناك مخالفة على الحبشي، لكن كان علينا أن نكون أكثر انتباهًا، وكان من المفترض أن تنتهي المباراة بنتيجة 2ـ0، خصوصًا أننا كنا في نهايتها».
وأشاد إنزاغي بالمستوى الذي قدمه سايمون في مشاركته الأولى، قائلًا: «قدم سايمون مباراة كبيرة، وهو يستحق ذلك لأنه يعمل بشكل جيد جدًا، وخروجه كان بسبب التشنجات العضلية، ولو لم يتعرض لها لاستمر في الملعب، لأنه كان يستحق البقاء».
وأضاف: «تدرب سايمون بصورة رائعة خلال الشهرين الماضيين منذ بداية فترة الإعداد، ونعرف أن هناك حدًا لعدد اللاعبين الأجانب في الدوري، لكنه يستحق الإشادة على المستوى الذي قدمه».
وتطرق المدرب الإيطالي إلى روبن نيفيز، مؤكدًا وقوف جميع مكونات النادي إلى جانبه، وقال: «نحن جميعًا قريبون جدًا من روبن؛ الجهاز الفني وزملاؤه والنادي والجماهير، والجميع أظهر دعمًا كبيرًا له».
وأضاف: «ما حدث في المباراة الماضية كان أمرًا خطيرًا لا ينبغي أن يحدث أبدًا، لكن روبن يعرف جيدًا حجم الدعم والمساندة التي يحظى بها من الجماهير ومن الجميع».
وعن بداية الهلال، قال إنزاغي: «بدأنا بشكل جيد جدًا، لكننا نعرف أنها مجرد بداية. خضنا تسع مباريات، حققنا ثمانية انتصارات وتلقينا خسارة واحدة، ونحن في صدارة الترتيب، ونملك أفضل هجوم وأفضل دفاع».
وتابع: «ينتظرنا أكثر من 50 مباراة، وعلينا الاستمرار في العمل واللعب كفريق واحد. هناك انسجام كبير داخل المجموعة، واللاعبون يعملون كل يوم بصورة رائعة، والجميع يتقبل المشاركة أو الجلوس على مقاعد البدلاء».
وعن الغائبين، قال: «نأمل أن يكون سالم وثيو هيرنانديز والعازمي متاحين عند استئناف الدوري، فهم ثلاثة لاعبين مهمين، وعودتهم ستمنحنا خيارات أكبر في التدوير، خصوصًا أننا نلعب مباراة كل ثلاثة أيام».
Italian coach Simone Inzaghi of the Al-Hilal first football team confirmed that his team deserved to leave the match against Qatari team Al-Gharafa with a clean sheet, in a game that ended with Al-Hilal winning two goals to one, as part of the AFC Champions League elite competition.
Inzaghi said: “Of course, we did not want to concede a goal, and there may have been a foul on Al-Habshi, but we had to be more attentive. The match should have ended with a score of 2-0, especially since we were at the end of it.”
Inzaghi praised the performance of Simon in his first appearance, saying: “Simon had a great match, and he deserves it because he works very well. His exit was due to muscle cramps, and if he hadn’t suffered from them, he would have stayed on the field because he deserved to remain.”
He added: “Simon trained wonderfully over the past two months since the start of the preparation period, and we know there is a limit to the number of foreign players in the league, but he deserves praise for the level he has shown.”
The Italian coach also addressed Ruben Neves, confirming that all components of the club stand by him, saying: “We are all very close to Ruben; the coaching staff, his teammates, the club, and the fans, and everyone has shown great support for him.”
He added: “What happened in the last match was a serious matter that should never happen, but Ruben knows very well the extent of the support and backing he has from the fans and everyone.”
Regarding Al-Hilal’s start, Inzaghi said: “We started very well, but we know it is just the beginning. We have played nine matches, achieved eight victories, and suffered one loss. We are at the top of the standings, and we have the best attack and the best defense.”
He continued: “We have more than 50 matches ahead of us, and we must continue to work and play as one team. There is great harmony within the group, and the players work wonderfully every day, and everyone accepts participation or sitting on the bench.”
Regarding the absentees, he said: “We hope that Salem, Theo Hernandez, and Al-Azami will be available when the league resumes, as they are three important players, and their return will give us more options in rotation, especially since we play a match every three days.”
