استهل الزمالك رحلة الدفاع عن لقب الدوري المصري بالتعادل السلبي مع الاتحاد السكندري في المباراة التي جمعتهما مساء الجمعة على استاد القاهرة الدولي.
سيطرة بيضاء دون أهداف
سيطر الزمالك على مجريات المباراة بنسبة استحواذ بلغت 61%، فيما تساوى الفريقان في عدد التسديدات بواقع 12 تسديدة لكل منهما، لكن جميع المحاولات لم تنجح في هز الشباك.
مدرب الزمالك: نعمل ضد المنطق
وعقب المباراة، قال مدرب الزمالك معتمد جمال: «لم أشتكِ من قبل، ونحن نعمل ضد المنطق، مثل هذه المباريات معادلة صعبة جداً؛ لأننا مطالبون بالفوز وتجهيز اللاعبين، والمشوار لا يزال طويلاً، ونعمل طوال اليوم من أجل تجهيز جميع لاعبي الفريق، وكنا نتطلع إلى إنهاء المباراة في الشوط الأول».
وأضاف: «المجموعة الموجودة تضم أفضل لاعبين في مصر، واللاعبون حفظوا طريقة اللعب بسرعة، ومن الطبيعي أن تكون هناك سلبيات، وألتمس العذر للاعبين».
واختتم: «اتبعت سياسة التدوير بين اللاعبين في المباراة خوفاً من تعرضهم للإصابات، خصوصاً أننا بدأنا فترة الإعداد منذ 20 يوماً فقط، والنادي لم يدعم صفوفه بصفقات جديدة في ظل إيقاف القيد».
Zamalek began their defense of the Egyptian league title with a goalless draw against Al-Ittihad Al-Sakandari in the match that took place on Friday evening at Cairo International Stadium.
White Dominance Without Goals
Zamalek dominated the match with a possession rate of 61%, while both teams had an equal number of shots, with 12 attempts each, but none of the attempts succeeded in finding the net.
Zamalek Coach: We Are Working Against Logic
After the match, Zamalek’s coach Moataz Gamal said: “I have never complained before, and we are working against logic. Matches like this are very difficult; we are required to win and prepare the players, and the journey is still long. We work all day to prepare all the team’s players, and we were looking to finish the match in the first half.”
He added: “The current group includes the best players in Egypt, and the players quickly learned the playing style. It is natural to have some negatives, and I excuse the players.”
He concluded: “I adopted a rotation policy among the players in the match to avoid injuries, especially since we started the preparation period only 20 days ago, and the club has not strengthened its ranks with new signings due to the registration ban.”
