حسم نادي الشباب صفقة التعاقد مع الدولي الغاني توماس بارتي، بعد اجتيازه الفحص الطبي، ليصبح لاعبًا في صفوف «الليوث»، في خطوة تستهدف من خلالها إدارة النادي إلى تعزيز قوة الفريق وخياراته في منطقة وسط الملعب.
ويأتي انضمام بارتي إلى الشباب بعد مسيرة طويلة خاض خلالها اللاعب العديد من التجارب المهمة في الملاعب الأوروبية، حيث سبق له تمثيل أتلتيكو مدريد الإسباني وأرسنال الإنجليزي، قبل أن يخوض تجربة مع فياريال الإسباني خلال الموسم الماضي، ليحط الرحال في دوري روشن السعودي مع الشباب.
ويعول الشباب على الخبرة الكبيرة التي يمتلكها اللاعب الغاني، البالغ من العمر 33 عامًا، خصوصًا في ظل قدرته على أداء أكثر من دور في وسط الملعب، سواء على المستوى الدفاعي أو في بناء اللعب، إلى جانب خبرته في التعامل مع المباريات الكبيرة والمنافسات عالية المستوى.
ومن المنتظر أن يمنح حضور بارتي الجهاز الفني خيارات إضافية في منطقة المحور، لما يمتلكه من قوة في الالتحامات والافتكاك والقدرة على تنظيم وسط الملعب، فضلًا عن خبرته التي اكتسبها خلال سنوات طويلة من المنافسة في البطولات الأوروبية.
ويأتي التعاقد مع بارتي ضمن تحركات إدارة الشباب لإعادة ترتيب قائمة الفريق للموسم الجديد، ورفع جودة العناصر الأجنبية، بما يتناسب مع طموحات النادي ورغبته في الظهور بصورة أقوى خلال منافسات الموسم.
وسيُسجَّل بارتي ضمن قائمة أجانب الشباب بدلًا من السويسري فينسنت سييرو، الذي أنهت إدارة النادي عقده بالتراضي بعد توقيع مخالصة مالية، حيث وجهت له الشكر على الفترة التي قضاها مع الفريق، متمنية له التوفيق في مسيرته القادمة.
كما شهدت قائمة الشباب رحيل البرازيلي كارلوس جونيور، الذي غادر صفوف الفريق بعد إنهاء العلاقة التعاقدية، في إطار عملية إعادة بناء وترتيب قائمة «الليوث» استعدادًا للموسم الجديد.
The Al-Shabab Club has finalized the signing of Ghanaian international Thomas Partey after he passed the medical examination, making him a player for the “Lions.” This move aims to strengthen the team’s power and options in the midfield area.
Partey’s joining Al-Shabab comes after a long career during which the player has had many significant experiences in European leagues, having previously represented Atlético Madrid in Spain and Arsenal in England, before spending last season with Villarreal in Spain, and now landing in the Saudi Roshan League with Al-Shabab.
Al-Shabab is counting on the vast experience of the 33-year-old Ghanaian player, especially given his ability to perform multiple roles in midfield, whether defensively or in playmaking, along with his experience in handling big matches and high-level competitions.
Partey’s presence is expected to provide the coaching staff with additional options in the pivot area, due to his strength in tackles, ball recovery, and ability to organize the midfield, in addition to the experience he has gained over many years of competition in European tournaments.
The signing of Partey is part of Al-Shabab’s management efforts to reorganize the team’s roster for the new season and enhance the quality of foreign players, in line with the club’s ambitions and its desire to appear stronger in the upcoming season’s competitions.
Partey will be registered in the list of Al-Shabab’s foreign players instead of Swiss Vincent Sierro, whose contract was mutually terminated after a financial settlement, with the club expressing gratitude for his time with the team and wishing him success in his future endeavors.
The Al-Shabab roster also saw the departure of Brazilian Carlos Junior, who left the team after the termination of his contract, as part of the rebuilding and reorganization process of the “Lions” in preparation for the new season.
