وكتب مورغان، الصديق المقرب من كريستيانو رونالدو، عبر حسابه على منصة «إكس»: «اعتزل ليونيل ميسي اللعب الدولي بعد أن سجل 125 هدفاً مع الأرجنتين، وهو ثاني أعلى معدل تهديفي في تاريخ كرة القدم، فيما يحتل كريستيانو رونالدو الصدارة برصيد 146 هدفاً مع البرتغال.. وهذا يحسم الجدل حول الأفضل».
ألقاب ميسي ورونالدو مع المنتخبات
وحصد ليونيل ميسي أربعة ألقاب مع منتخب الأرجنتين، هي كأس العالم 2022، وكأس فيناليسيما 2022، وكوبا أمريكا مرتين 2021 و2024.
في المقابل، حصد كريستيانو رونالدو ثلاثة ألقاب مع منتخب البرتغال، وهي كأس الأمم الأوروبية 2016، ودوري الأمم الأوروبية 2019 و2025.

Lionel Messi has won four titles with the Argentina national team: the 2022 World Cup, the 2022 Finalissima, and the Copa America twice in 2021 and 2024.
