وقال المتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية الصينية غوو جياكون في مؤتمر صحافي “نحث الجانب الأميركي على التوقف عن توسيع قدراته العسكرية والاستعداد للحرب في الفضاء الخارجي”.

وكان ناطق باسم قوة الفضاء الأميركية أشار في بيان إلى أن “الولايات المتحدة نشرت في المدار أسلحة مخصّصة للسيطرة على الفضاء، قادرة على حماية القوات الأميركية المشتركة من التهديدات المعادية”، من دون كشف تفاصيل حول طبيعتها أو مواصفاتها.
