رغم فقدان المنتخب اليمني لفرصة بلوغ نصف نهائي خليجي 27، كانت هناك طفلة في المدرجات ترفع علم بلادها وتبكي فرحاً، في مشهد اختصر جمال الرياضة وصدقها.
وضعت يدها على فمها وغلبتها الدموع مع تقدم منتخبها أمام البحرين في مواجهة انتهت بفوز اليمن 5-2. ورغم أن الانتصار لن يمنح التأهل، فقد منحها سعادة تستحق كل ذلك الانفعال.
قدّمت الصغيرة بعفويتها معنى جميلاً للتشجيع، فحب المنتخب لا يتوقف عند انتهاء فرص المنافسة، وتبقى لأهدافه فرحتها ولانتصاراته قيمتها في قلوب المحبين.

سيغادر المنتخب البطولة، لكنها ستأخذ معها ذكرى انتصار رفعت فيه علم بلادها عالياً وبكت من شدة السعادة.
فبعض الانتصارات تمنحك التأهل، وبعضها يمنحك لحظة تحب فيها الرياضة أكثر.
Despite the Yemeni national team’s loss of the opportunity to reach the semifinals of Gulf 27, there was a little girl in the stands raising her country’s flag and crying with joy, in a scene that encapsulated the beauty and sincerity of sports.
