أكد مدرب المنتخب السعودي دونيس، لـ«عكاظ» أن «الأخضر» يدخل مواجهة عُمان بعقلية ثابتة تقوم على احترام المنافس والتركيز على كل مباراة بصورة مستقلة، مشددًا على أهمية اللقاء في مشوار التأهل، لكنه أوضح أن طموح الجهاز الفني لا يقتصر على تحقيق الفوز فقط، بل يشمل تقديم أداء جيد وتطوير الفريق.
وقال دونيس: «بالنسبة لنا ندخل كل مباراة بالعقلية نفسها، مع احترام المنافس، وتركيزنا الآن منصب على المباراة القادمة».
وأضاف: «نعرف أن مباراة الغد مهمة من أجل التأهل، لكنني أكرر أن الأمر بالنسبة لنا لا يتعلق الآن بالفوز بالمباراة فقط».
وأوضح أن الأولوية تتمثل في الجمع بين النتيجة والأداء، قائلًا: «الأولوية هي أن نقدم أداءً جيدًا، وأن نحترم المنافس، وأن نحاول الركض كثيرًا واللعب بالكرة».
عُمان منتخب صعب
وأكد دونيس أنه تابع مواجهة المنتخب العُماني أمام العراق، ووقف على أبرز خصائص منافسه قبل اللقاء.
وقال: «شاهدت مباراة عُمان أمام العراق، وأستطيع القول إن عُمان منتخب صعب. لاعبوه يركضون كثيرًا ويضغطون كثيرًا ويحاولون إغلاق المساحات».
وأضاف: «من المهم جدًا بالنسبة لنا أن نحاول السيطرة على المباراة، وأن نعرف متى يكون الوقت المناسب للضغط، ومتى نستحوذ على الكرة ونصنع الهجمات في الثلث الأخير».
الانضباط أساس مواجهة عُمان
وأوضح دونيس أن الجهاز الفني يحدد خياراته وفقًا لطبيعة كل منافس، ولا يعتمد على التفاصيل التكتيكية نفسها في جميع المباريات.
وقال: «في كل مرة نحلل المنافس، والأمر يعتمد على الفريق الذي نواجهه. نحاول أحيانًا تغيير بعض الأسماء وبعض التعليمات التكتيكية».
وأضاف: «من المهم جدًا أن يكون اللاعبون الـ11 منضبطين، سواء دفاعيًا أو هجوميًا، وأن يكون الفريق متقاربًا ويلتزم بالتعليمات».
وأشار إلى إمكانية إجراء بعض التغييرات على التشكيلة الأساسية لمنح المنتخب مزيدًا من الطاقة والحدة، خصوصًا مع تقارب مواعيد المباريات.
هدفنا التطور مباراة بعد أخرى
وشدد دونيس على أن المنتخب يتعامل مع البطولة باعتبارها محطة مهمة لتطوير الفريق، وليس فقط فرصة للمنافسة على اللقب.
وقال: «نفكر في كيفية التطور كفريق في هذه البطولة، مباراة بعد أخرى، وأن نرى ما الذي يجب علينا تحسينه، حتى فيما يتعلق بالاستعداد لكأس العالم».
وأضاف: «هذه البطولة ليست مهمة فقط من أجل اللقب، بل من المهم جدًا أن نرى كيف يمكننا التطور كفريق وأن نتخذ خطوات مهمة للمستقبل».
وأشار إلى أن العمل الحالي يمثل جزءًا من مسار يمتد إلى المباريات الودية القادمة، بهدف وضع أساس قوي للمرحلة المستقبلية.
دونيس يطالب بدعم المهاجمين
وتحدث مدرب المنتخب السعودي عن مهاجمي «الأخضر»، مؤكدًا أهمية منحهم الثقة والصبر، خصوصًا في ظل عدم حصول بعضهم على دقائق لعب كافية مع أنديتهم.
وقال: «أولًا علينا أن نعطيهم التوجيه فيما يتعلق بالتحركات، وبعد ذلك نمنحهم الثقة، حتى عندما يمرون بأوقات صعبة».
وأضاف: «اللاعبون الثلاثة لا يحصلون على الكثير من الدقائق مع أنديتهم. عندما تلعب أكثر فإن ذلك يمنحك الثقة ويساعدك على التحركات بصورة أفضل».
وطالب دونيس بمزيد من الصبر على اللاعبين داخل الملعب، مؤكدًا أن المنتخب الوطني يحتاج إلى مساندة عناصره في اللحظات الجيدة والصعبة.
25 محاولة والعمل على اللمسة الأخيرة
وعن إهدار الفرص، أشار دونيس إلى أن المنتخب السعودي نجح في صناعة نحو 25 محاولة في المباراة الماضية أمام الكويت، معتبرًا ذلك مؤشرًا إيجابيًا.
وقال: «نملك الجودة. في المباراة الأخيرة أمام الكويت كان لدينا نحو 25 محاولة، وهذا أمر إيجابي جدًا بالنسبة لنا».
وأضاف: «أعتقد أن لاعبينا جاهزون لتحسين بعض التحركات داخل منطقة الجزاء والوصول إلى نتائج أفضل».
وأكد أن الجهاز الفني يعمل على رفع ثقة اللاعبين ومساعدتهم على اتخاذ القرارات المناسبة أمام المرمى.
وقال: «خطوة بعد خطوة، سواء من ناحية التحركات التكتيكية أو الثقة، نستطيع مساعدة اللاعبين على أن يكونوا أكثر هدوءًا وأن يتخذوا القرار الصحيح».
كرة القدم هجوم ودفاع
وشدد دونيس على أن تقييم أداء المنتخب لا ينبغي أن يعتمد على الجانب الهجومي وحده.
وقال: «إذا كنت أتذكر بشكل صحيح، فإن المنافس صنع فرصة واحدة فقط خلال نحو 100 دقيقة، وهذا أمر مهم جدًا بالنسبة لنا، لأننا حافظنا على نظافة شباكنا».
وأضاف: «كرة القدم لا تتعلق فقط بالجانب الهجومي، بل تتعلق أيضًا بالجانب الدفاعي».
الأجواء إيجابية واللاعبون جاهزون
وأكد دونيس أن علاقته بلاعبي المنتخب تطورت، وأنه أصبح أكثر معرفة بشخصياتهم وإمكاناتهم.
وقال: «أصبحت أعرف لاعبي فريقي بصورة أفضل، وأعرف شخصياتهم أكثر، ولدينا انسجام أفضل وشعور جيد جدًا بيننا».
وأضاف: «الأجواء جيدة جدًا، سواء في الفندق أو في التدريبات، واللاعبون جاهزون لتقديم كل شيء وإظهار شغفهم».
وشدد على أهمية الاستقرار الذهني وتنفيذ الخطة، مؤكدًا أن جودة اللاعبين، إلى جانب الالتزام والانضباط، يمكن أن تقود المنتخب إلى تقديم الأداء المطلوب وتحقيق النقاط الثلاث.

Donis confirmed that he followed the Omani national team’s match against Iraq and noted the main characteristics of his opponent before the encounter.
He said: “I watched the match between Oman and Iraq, and I can say that Oman is a tough team. Their players run a lot, press a lot, and try to close spaces.”
He added: “It is very important for us to try to control the match, to know when is the right time to press, and when to possess the ball and create attacks in the final third.”
Discipline is key for the Oman match
Donis explained that the coaching staff determines its options according to the nature of each opponent and does not rely on the same tactical details in all matches.
He said: “Each time we analyze the opponent, and it depends on the team we are facing. Sometimes we try to change some names and some tactical instructions.”
He added: “It is very important for the 11 players to be disciplined, whether defensively or offensively, and for the team to be cohesive and adhere to the instructions.”
He indicated the possibility of making some changes to the starting lineup to give the team more energy and sharpness, especially with the proximity of match dates.
Our goal is to develop match by match
Donis emphasized that the team views the tournament as an important stage for developing the team, not just an opportunity to compete for the title.
He said: “We think about how to develop as a team in this tournament, match by match, and to see what we need to improve, even in terms of preparation for the World Cup.”

He said: “We have quality. In the last match against Kuwait, we had about 25 attempts, and this is very positive for us.”
He added: “I believe our players are ready to improve some movements inside the penalty area and achieve better results.”
He confirmed that the coaching staff is working on boosting the players’ confidence and helping them make the right decisions in front of the goal.
He said: “Step by step, whether in terms of tactical movements or confidence, we can help the players to be calmer and make the right decision.”
Football is about attack and defense
Donis emphasized that evaluating the team’s performance should not rely solely on the offensive side.
He said: “If I remember correctly, the opponent created only one chance in about 100 minutes, which is very important for us because we kept a clean sheet.”
He added: “Football is not just about the offensive side; it is also about the defensive side.”
The atmosphere is positive and the players are ready
Donis confirmed that his relationship with the players has developed, and he has become more familiar with their personalities and potentials.
He said: “I have come to know my players better, I know their personalities more, and we have better harmony and a very good feeling among us.”
He added: “The atmosphere is very good, whether in the hotel or in training, and the players are ready to give everything and show their passion.”
He emphasized the importance of mental stability and executing the plan, confirming that the quality of the players, along with commitment and discipline, can lead the team to deliver the required performance and achieve the three points.
