أعلن نادي إنتر ميامي الأمريكي، الذي يلعب ضمن صفوفه النجم الأرجنتيني ليونيل ميسي، تعاقده مع كريستيان «كيلي» غونزاليس لتدريب الفريق، خلفاً لأنخيل غييرمو هويوس.
وقال النادي في بيان عبر موقعه الرسمي، اليوم (الجمعة(، إنه توصل إلى اتفاق مع المدرب الأرجنتيني كيلي غونزاليس لتولي قيادة للفريق الأول، على أن يباشر مهامه رسمياً فور حصوله على تصاريح العمل اللازمة.
هويوس مستمر مؤقتاً
وأضاف البيان: «سيستمر غييرمو هويوس مؤقتاً في قيادة الفريق حتى وصول المدرب الجديد وطاقمه التدريبي».
وأشاد نادي إنتر ميامي بهويوس، موجهاً له الشكر على التزامه وتفانيه الكامل تجاه النادي، والذي ظهر في استعداده لتولي المهمة خلال الفترة التي بدأت في أبريل الماضي.
وكان هويوس، الذي أشرف سابقاً على منظومة التطوير في إنتر ميامي، قد تولى تدريب الفريق بصورة مؤقتة عقب استقالة خافيير ماسكيرانو في أبريل الماضي.
زميل سابق لميسي
وسبق وأن زامل غونزاليس قائد إنتر ميامي الحالي ليونيل ميسي في عام 2005، إذ تواجدا معاً في مباراتين من تصفيات كأس العالم في ذلك العام ضد بيرو وأوروغواي.
تراجع نتائج إنتر ميامي
يُذكر أن إنتر ميامي تعاقد الشهر الماضي مع نجم خط الوسط البرازيلي كاسيميرو، لكن نتائج الفريق واصلت التراجع رغم وجود ليونيل ميسي وعدد من اللاعبين البارزين في تشكيلته، إذ خسر الفريق أربع مباريات من أصل خمس في بطولة الدوري الأمريكي.
Inter Miami, the American club featuring Argentine star Lionel Messi, has announced its contract with Cristian “Killy” Gonzalez to coach the team, succeeding Angel Guillermo Hoyos.
The club stated in a press release on its official website today (Friday) that it has reached an agreement with Argentine coach Killy Gonzalez to take over the first team, and he will officially begin his duties as soon as he obtains the necessary work permits.
Hoyos to Continue Temporarily
The statement added: “Guillermo Hoyos will temporarily continue to lead the team until the arrival of the new coach and his coaching staff.”
Inter Miami praised Hoyos, thanking him for his commitment and complete dedication to the club, which was evident in his willingness to take on the role during the period that began last April.
Hoyos, who previously oversaw the development system at Inter Miami, took over coaching the team temporarily following Javier Mascherano’s resignation last April.
Former Teammate of Messi
Gonzalez previously played alongside current Inter Miami captain Lionel Messi in 2005, as they both participated in two World Cup qualifying matches that year against Peru and Uruguay.
Declining Results for Inter Miami
It is worth noting that Inter Miami signed Brazilian midfielder Casemiro last month, but the team’s results continued to decline despite having Lionel Messi and several prominent players in its lineup, as the team lost four out of five matches in the Major League Soccer.
