ولم ترد تقارير عن وقوع خسائر بشرية أو أضرار مادية جراء الزلزال.
وكانت ولاية هايشي في مقاطعة تشينغهاي شمال غربي الصين قد شهدت في 19 أغسطس الجاري زلزالًا بلغت قوته 5.6 درجات على مقياس ريختر، دون ورود تقارير عن خسائر بشرية أو مادية.
