أكد المدرب الصربي لنادي التعاون زاركو لازيتيتش أن فريقه عانى في الشوط الأول من مباراته أمام الخليج، مشيراً إلى أن الفريق ما زال في بداية المشوار ويحتاج لمزيد من الوقت للانسجام.
وقال لازيتيتش في المؤتمر الصحفي عقب المباراة التي جمعت فريقه بالخليج وانتهت بالتعادل السلبي، في اللقاء الذي جمعهما على ملعب نادي التعاون ببريدة، ضمن منافسات الجولة الأولى من الدوري السعودي للمحترفين «دوري روشن»: «كانت مباراة صعبة، خصوصاً في الشوط الأول، وعانينا في التعامل مع مجريات اللقاء بسبب الأجواء. كنا متسرعين قليلاً في التعامل مع الكرة، وكان الخليج الأخطر في الشوط الأول، رغم أنه لم يخلق سوى فرصة واحدة حقيقية للتسجيل».
وأضاف: «ظهرنا بشكل أفضل في الشوط الثاني، سواء بالكرة أو بدونها. وكانت تحركاتنا أكثر إيجابية، وخلقنا ثلاث فرص للتسجيل، كما سيطرنا بشكل أفضل من الناحية الدفاعية».
وتابع المدرب الصربي: «ما زلنا في بداية المشوار ولدينا فريق شبه جديد، وبالتالي نحتاج إلى مزيد من الوقت للوصول إلى المستوى المطلوب».
وشدد لازيتيتش على أهمية الاستفادة من المباراة القادمة على فترة ضغط المباريات قائلاً: «أفضل أن أبقى متفائلاً، وعلينا أن نتعلم من هذه المباراة ونستفيد من دروسها، خصوصاً أننا مقبلون على فترة ضغط مباريات، وعلينا أن نكون جاهزين للتعامل معها بالشكل الأفضل».
وحول إشراكه أربعة لاعبين في الجانب الهجومي خلال الشوط الثاني، أوضح: «منذ البداية كان هدفنا تحقيق الفوز، والفريق يعتمد على جميع اللاعبين. لكن أعتقد أن أفضل فتراتنا في المباراة كانت خلال أول 25 دقيقة من الشوط الثاني، باللاعبين أنفسهم الذين بدأوا اللقاء».
The Serbian coach of Al-Taawoun, Zarko Lazetic, confirmed that his team struggled in the first half of their match against Al-Khaleej, noting that the team is still at the beginning of its journey and needs more time to gel.
Lazetic said in the press conference following the match, which ended in a goalless draw and took place at Al-Taawoun’s stadium in Buraidah, as part of the first round of the Saudi Pro League “Roshen League”: “It was a difficult match, especially in the first half, and we struggled to cope with the flow of the game due to the conditions. We were a bit hasty in our ball handling, and Al-Khaleej was more dangerous in the first half, even though they only created one real scoring opportunity.”
He added: “We appeared better in the second half, both with and without the ball. Our movements were more positive, and we created three scoring opportunities, as well as controlling better defensively.”
The Serbian coach continued: “We are still at the beginning of our journey and have a somewhat new team, so we need more time to reach the required level.”
Lazetic emphasized the importance of benefiting from the upcoming match during this busy period, saying: “I prefer to remain optimistic, and we need to learn from this match and take its lessons, especially since we are approaching a period of congested fixtures, and we must be ready to handle it in the best way.”
Regarding his decision to include four players in the attacking side during the second half, he explained: “From the beginning, our goal was to achieve victory, and the team relies on all players. But I believe that our best periods in the match were during the first 25 minutes of the second half, with the same players who started the match.”
