صرح المتحدث الرسمي للدفاع المدني بأنه في يوم
الخميس 1448/4/6 هـ الموافق 17/7/ 09/ 2026 م،
باشر الدفاع المدني بمحافظة الطائف سقوط شظايا طائرة مسيرة بعد اعتراضها وتدميرها.
وأشار إلى إطلاقها من قبل الميليشيا الحوثية الإرهابية.
ونتج عن ذلك وفاة مقيم من الجنسية اليمنية – رحمه الله وإصابة مواطنة ومقيم من الجنسية الباكستانية حالته حرجة، وأضرار مادية في عدد من المباني والمركبات.
وأكد تنفيذ الإجراءات المعتمدة في مثل هذه الحالات.
