وقالت الشبكة، في تحديث لتوقعات الأمن الغذائي في السودان للفترة من أغسطس 2026 إلى يناير 2027، إن “هناك خطرًا قائمًا بحدوث مجاعة حتى يناير المقبل في 7 مناطق بشمال دارفور، وفي مدينتي الدلنج وكادقلي بجنوب كردفان”.

وأشارت إلى أن هذه المناطق تشهد عجزًا كبيرًا في استهلاك الغذاء وزيادة في مستويات سوء التغذية الحاد.
