وقال يوري أوشاكوف، مساعد الرئيس الروسي، للصحافيين، إن “المبعوثين الأمريكيين أعدا لهذه الزيارة بشكل واف”.
أضاف: “لم يعربا فقط عن اهتمامهما التقليدي بإنهاء الأعمال العدائية بسرعة، بل عرضا أيضا عددا من الأفكار حول السبل المحتملة للتوصل إلى تسوية”.
