قفزة تاريخية لأسعار الديزل في هذه الولاية.. محطة تبيع الغالون بـ9.99 دولار

وأكد أحد موظفي المحطة أن الوقود كان لا يزال متاحاً بهذا السعر حتى يوم (الجمعة) الماضية. ورغم إمكانية تجاوز السعر مستوى 9.99 دولار نظرياً، فإن معظم اللوحات الإلكترونية في محطات الوقود لا تسمح بإظهار أرقام أعلى بسبب محدودية عدد الخانات، وفقاً لما ذكرته «بلومبرغ»، واطلعت عليه «العربية Business».

ومع أن هذه المحطة تمثل حالة استثنائية مقارنة ببقية منطقة سان دييغو، فإنها تعكس أزمة ديزل تاريخية دفعت الأسعار إلى مستويات غير مسبوقة في الولايات المتحدة، وفرضت ضغوطاً إضافية على سوق الوقود المشدود بالفعل في كاليفورنيا.

أعلى مستوى على الإطلاق

وأظهرت بيانات جمعية السيارات الأمريكية (AAA) ارتفاع متوسط سعر الديزل في كاليفورنيا إلى أكثر من 8 دولارات للغالون يوم (الجمعة)، وهو أعلى مستوى على الإطلاق. كما تجاوز متوسط الأسعار على مستوى الولايات المتحدة 6 دولارات للغالون للمرة الأولى، مع استمرار اضطرابات أسواق الطاقة بفعل الحرب في إيران والصراع الروسي الأوكراني.

وأثارت هذه القفزة مخاوف الشركات المعتمدة على الديزل لتشغيل الشاحنات والمعدات الثقيلة وتوليد الكهرباء، إذ أدت تكاليف الوقود المرتفعة إلى تآكل الأرباح ودفع العديد من الشركات إلى رفع أسعار خدماتها، ما يضيف ضغوطاً تضخمية جديدة على المستهلكين الذين يواجهون بالفعل ارتفاعاً مستمراً في تكاليف المعيشة والطاقة.

An employee at the station confirmed that fuel was still available at this price as of last (Friday). Although the price could theoretically exceed $9.99, most electronic signs at gas stations do not allow for displaying higher numbers due to the limited number of digits, according to what was reported by Bloomberg and reviewed by Al Arabiya Business.

While this station represents an exceptional case compared to the rest of the San Diego area, it reflects a historic diesel crisis that has pushed prices to unprecedented levels in the United States, adding additional pressures to an already strained fuel market in California.

All-time high

Data from the American Automobile Association (AAA) showed that the average diesel price in California rose to over $8 per gallon on (Friday), marking an all-time high. The national average also surpassed $6 per gallon for the first time, as energy market disruptions continue due to the war in Iran and the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

This spike has raised concerns among businesses that rely on diesel to operate trucks, heavy equipment, and generate electricity, as high fuel costs have eroded profits and forced many companies to raise their service prices, adding new inflationary pressures on consumers who are already facing a continuous rise in living and energy costs.
