وأفاد الجيش الكولومبي في بيان، أن جنديين لقيا حتفهما في موقع الهجوم، بينما توفي جندي ثالث بعد تلقيه الرعاية الطبية.
وأشار إلى أن الهجوم تم تنفيذه بمتفجرات ألقيت من طائرات مسيرة تلاه اشتباك داخل مجمع عسكري في شمال شرق كولومبيا.
