Manchester City, led by their coach Pep Guardiola, are looking to get back to winning ways in the Premier League at the expense of West Ham, after drawing 2-2 with Nottingham Forest in the last round and wasting two important points in their battle with Arsenal for the top spot in the competition.

Reconciliation with the masses
City also enter the match with the aim of making amends with their fans after the crushing 3-0 defeat to Real Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 last Wednesday, and trying to get a morale boost before the return leg scheduled for next Tuesday at the Etihad Stadium.
Manchester City are second in the English Premier League table with 60 points, seven points behind leaders Arsenal.
West Ham in high spirits
On the other hand, West Ham enters today's match with high morale after their 1-0 victory over Fulham in the last round, in addition to qualifying for the quarter-finals of the FA Cup at the expense of Brentford.
West Ham will rely on home advantage and the support of their fans to achieve a positive result against City that will boost their hopes of staying in the league next season, as they currently sit in 18th place with 28 points.
