In 17 languages... Instant translation activated to serve pilgrims in the Two Holy Mosques
has activated The General Presidency for Religious Affairs the simultaneous translation system at the Two Holy Mosques as part of its "In Their Languages" program.
This initiative is part of its efforts to enhance religious and educational services provided topilgrims, enabling them to benefit from guidance and instruction in their various languages, thus enriching their spiritual and intellectual experience.
Facilitating communication with pilgrims
The device enables the immediate translation of awareness, guidance, and inquiry content into (17) international languages, through modern technologies that rely on the speed of processing sound and text, which contributes to facilitating communication with pilgrims of different nationalities and cultures, and enhancing the delivery of legitimate and guidance messages clearly and accurately within the Two Holy Mosques.
The activation of the device comes as an extension of the efforts of the Presidency of Religious Affairs to employ modern technologies and artificial intelligence to improve the quality of religious services provided to visitors of the Two Holy Mosques, and to enhance the digital transformation system in awareness and guidance programs, in line with the aspirations of the wise leadership - may God support it - to provide the best services to the guests of God.
