Trump announced that he had invited his Chinese counterpart to visit the White House on September 24.
Addressing Xi and his wife, Peng Liyuan, at the dinner, Trump said, “It is my honor to extend to you and Mrs. Peng an invitation to visit us at the White House on September 24, and we look forward to it.”
