اعتمد مجلس إدارة الاتحاد السعودي للمبارزة صرف مكافأة مالية للاعب خليفة العميري، ومدربه حسام الدين مصطفى، تقديراً للإنجاز التاريخي الذي حققه الأخضر بحصوله على الميدالية البرونزية في بطولة العالم للمبارزة (عمومي) 2026 التي أقيمت في هونغ كونغ.
ويعد هذا الإنجاز هو الأول من نوعه في تاريخ مشاركات المملكة ببطولات العالم للمبارزة، إذ نجح العميري في كتابة اسمه بحروف من ذهب ورفع علم المملكة على منصات التتويج العالمية. وأوضح الاتحاد أن هذا القرار يأتي امتداداً لنهجه في دعم الأبطال وتحفيزهم على مواصلة التميز، بما يسهم في تعزيز مسيرة تطور رياضة المبارزة في المملكة، ويواكب المستهدفات الوطنية للارتقاء بالإنجازات في المحافل القارية والدولية.
من جانبه، أعرب خليفة العميري، عن فخره بهذا الإنجاز الذي تحقق بدعم الاتحاد السعودي للمبارزة، مؤكداً أن الميدالية البرونزية ستكون دافعاً له ولزملائه اللاعبين لتحقيق المزيد من الإنجازات ورفع اسم الوطن في البطولات القادمة.
The Board of Directors of the Saudi Fencing Federation has approved a financial reward for player Khalifa Al-Amiri and his coach Hossam Al-Din Mustafa, in recognition of the historic achievement of the national team in winning the bronze medal at the 2026 World Fencing Championship (General) held in Hong Kong.
This achievement is the first of its kind in the history of the Kingdom’s participation in world fencing championships, as Al-Amiri succeeded in writing his name in golden letters and raising the Kingdom’s flag on the global podiums. The federation clarified that this decision is part of its ongoing approach to support champions and motivate them to continue excelling, contributing to the development of the sport of fencing in the Kingdom and aligning with national goals to elevate achievements in continental and international arenas.
For his part, Khalifa Al-Amiri expressed his pride in this achievement, which was made possible with the support of the Saudi Fencing Federation, affirming that the bronze medal will be a motivation for him and his fellow players to achieve more accomplishments and raise the name of the nation in upcoming championships.
