أكد مدرب الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي القادسية، الإيرلندي بريندان روجرز، جاهزية فريقه لمواجهة الأهلي، مشيراً إلى أن الفريق استثمر اليومين الماضيين في الاستشفاء والاستعداد بشكل جيد للمباراة.
وقال روجرز في المؤتمر الصحفي: «الأهلي فريق متمكن ويملك لاعبين مميزين ومدرباً ممتازاً، ونحن نحترم جميع المنافسين، وفي الوقت نفسه ندرك أننا فريق قوي وقادر على جعل المباراة صعبة على أي خصم. نحرص دائماً على تحليل منافسينا بدقة ومعرفة نقاط القوة والضعف، وهدفنا هو المنافسة والوصول إلى أبعد نقطة ممكنة».
ورداً على سؤال «عكاظ» حول انسجام اللاعبين المنضمين حديثاً لصفوف القادسية، قال: «لدينا لاعبون جدد على مستوى عالٍ، والأمور تسير بشكل جيد. أحب أن أشكر الشركة المالكة للنادي والمدير الرياضي أنتون على تلبية جميع متطلبات الفريق، فقد قاما بعمل كبير في توفير احتياجاتنا واستقطاب أسماء مميزة لها ثقلها على خريطة كرة القدم».
The head coach of the Al-Qadsiah football team, Irishman Brendan Rodgers, confirmed his team’s readiness to face Al-Ahli, noting that the team has invested the past two days in recovery and preparing well for the match.
