On the Day of Tarwiyah, the nation's scouts create unforgettable human stories in Mina
Among the care centers affiliated with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, spread throughout Mina, a long journey of continuous work began, which did not stop until the hours of the day of Tarwiyah, as scouts and scout leaders lined up in their positions, receiving pilgrims with sincere smiles, guiding the lost, and leading the elderly and disabled to their quarters, in a scene that embodies the highest meanings of mercy and human solidarity.
On the roads leading to the camps, and in the corridors and squares, the sounds of the Talbiyah mingled with the supplications that the pilgrims recited in gratitude to those young men who made their service a mission, and their daily work a shining example of the youth of the Kingdom, who were raised on the love of goodness, sincerity in work, and serving humanity without expecting anything in return.
Supporting medical teams
The scouts' role wasn't limited to guidance; their efforts extended to standing shoulder to shoulder with the heroes of the Ministry of Health in the hospitals and health centers scattered throughout Mina. They participated in organizing visitors, supporting medical teams, pushing patients and the elderly in wheelchairs between departments, cooperating with emergency crews to facilitate movement within health facilities, and then accompanying recovered pilgrims back to their accommodations with utmost care and attention.
Each time a pilgrim returned to their camp safe and sound, heartfelt prayers preceded the scouts' steps, and hands were raised in supplication for them, their country, and its leadership, in appreciation of the comprehensive care and services provided by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Crown Prince to serve the guests of God, through an integrated system in which various governmental and volunteer entities participate with a unified spirit.
Hajj service
The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association, through its annual public service camps in Mecca and the Holy Sites, affirms that scouting is no longer merely a youth activity, but has become a national and humanitarian institution that cultivates generations who believe in responsibility and translate the values of citizenship into tangible, impactful fieldwork, aligning with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to promote volunteerism.
The Day of Tarwiyah remains a magnificent display of faith, embodying the unity of Muslims as they flock to the Sacred House of God with humble hearts and tongues uttering the Talbiyah and remembrance of God, in a spiritual journey renewed each year. This day serves as a reminder of the meanings of faith, obedience, sacrifice, and drawing closer to God Almighty, while the nation's scouts, leaders, and guides continue to write shining chapters of dedication and humanity in serving the pilgrims.
