أوضحت مصادر لـ«عكاظ» أن انتقال لاعب نادي الاتحاد السابق عبدالرحمن العبود إلى الشباب كان بالتراضي، ولم يتم تعويض النادي الغربي بأي مبالغ مالية من نظيره الشباب، إذ توصل العبود والاتحاد إلى اتفاق يقضي بتنازله عن رواتبه المتبقية، وإنهاء العقد ودياً.
الجدير ذكره أن إدارة نادي الاتحاد كانت قد أعلنت تجديد عقد اللاعب في الرابع من ديسمبر 2025 لمدة عامين، ومن المقرر أن ينتهي العقد في يونيو 2027، واتفق الطرفان على انتقال اللاعب بالتراضي، وبالتالي لم يتحصل نادي الاتحاد على أي مبالغ مالية من هذه الصفقة، علماً بأن اللاعب تبقى له أكثر من 10 أشهر في عقده.
يُذكر أن عبدالرحمن العبود انضم إلى الاتحاد في صيف 2019 قادماً من الاتفاق.
Sources told “Okaz” that the transfer of former Al-Ittihad player Abdulrahman Al-Aboud to Al-Shabab was by mutual consent, and the western club did not receive any financial compensation from Al-Shabab. Al-Aboud and Al-Ittihad reached an agreement whereby he would waive his remaining salaries and terminate the contract amicably.
It is worth mentioning that the management of Al-Ittihad had announced the renewal of the player’s contract on December 4, 2025, for two years, and the contract is set to expire in June 2027. The two parties agreed on the player’s transfer by mutual consent, and thus Al-Ittihad did not receive any financial amounts from this deal, noting that the player had more than 10 months remaining on his contract.
It is noted that Abdulrahman Al-Aboud joined Al-Ittihad in the summer of 2019 coming from Al-Ettifaq.
