
72 research projects at the opening of the engineering exhibition for students of King Abdulaziz University in Rabigh
The university president honored the sponsoring companies during the opening of the engineering exhibition. He also toured the accompanying exhibition and listened to students’ explanations of their research and innovation projects, which included a distinguished group of projects in various engineering fields.
This annual event is the most prominent for the College of Engineering in Rabigh, as it brings together under one roof an elite group of students, faculty members and graduates, in addition to specialists from the industrial and engineering sectors.
Highlighting youth talents
The exhibition aims to showcase young talent, support innovation, and create a platform connecting engineering education with the local and national job market, aligning with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in the fields of technology, industry, advanced energy, and energy efficiency.
Over two days, Wednesday and Thursday, the exhibition will feature a range of events that highlight the academic and innovative outputs of engineering students, including a graduation projects exhibition, a competition for the best entrepreneurship course, presentations of practical models and applications based on 3D printing, and an engineering hackathon.

It also includes several accompanying events aimed at enhancing the visitor experience and supporting the engineering content of the exhibition, through specialized dialogues, interactive experiences, and the participation of sponsors and partners, with the aim of spreading knowledge, encouraging interaction, and building bridges of communication between students, academics, and the professional sector.
