
"Bayern's goal is safe"... Neuer and Ulreich renew their contracts
Bayern Munich announced on Friday that they have renewed the contracts of first-team goalkeepers Manuel Neuer and Sven Ulreich for one season.

The club said in a statement on its website: “FC Bayern Munich will rely on its trusted goalkeeping duo for another season, after Manuel Neuer and Sven Ulreich renewed their contracts until June 30, 2027.”.
Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer said: “The club has always had a succession of exceptional goalkeepers throughout its history, and Manuel Neuer occupies a special place among them; he is not just a symbol of one generation, but of two, and a leader who is a great role model on and off the field. We are proud of the way he has contributed to building this club for more than a decade.”.
Neuer's numbers and achievements
Neuer began his career with Bayern Munich in 2011, achieving the historic treble by winning the Champions League, the German league title and the German Cup twice (2013, 2020), in addition to winning the Club World Cup and the European Super Cup twice in the same two years.
So far, Neuer, who is 40 years old, has won the German league title 13 times, the German Cup 6 times and the German Super Cup 8 times.
The veteran goalkeeper played 597 official matches for Bayern Munich, in addition to 124 matches for the German national team, and won the World Cup in 2014.
Neuer has won the IFFHS World's Best Goalkeeper award five times, as well as the World's Best Goalkeeper award for the decade from 2011 to 2020, the Best Goalkeeper in Europe award, and the Best Player in Germany award twice.
