The Minister of Interior visits Al-Jawf and affirms the leadership's support for comprehensive development

In a move reflecting the wise leadership's commitment to continuous field monitoring across the Kingdom's various regions, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, met today in Sakaka with His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Jawf Region. This visit comes as part of His Highness's inspection tours aimed at strengthening the security and development work system in the regions.

Implementing leadership directives

During the meeting, His Royal Highness the Minister of Interior affirmed that his visit to Al-Jawf region was in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prime Minister – may God protect them both. His Royal Highness explained that these directives embody the comprehensive and balanced attention the leadership gives to the development of all regions of the Kingdom without exception, ensuring the strengthening of security and stability and supporting the paths of sustainable development the country is witnessing.

Integration between security and development

In discussing the developments taking place in the region, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud highlighted the remarkable progress achieved in Al-Jawf region, praising the tireless efforts of the region's government under the guidance of its governor. He noted that this development positively impacts the quality of life for citizens and residents, emphasizing the close link between security and economic prosperity, as security is the fundamental pillar upon which all development and investment projects are based.

Al-Jawf and the goals of Vision 2030

For his part, His Royal Highness the Prince of Al-Jawf Region expressed his appreciation for the visit of His Royal Highness the Minister of Interior, acknowledging the Ministry's unwavering support in consolidating stability and bolstering development efforts. Following the meeting, His Royal Highness the Minister of Interior was briefed on a comprehensive presentation outlining the region's general strategy and the development initiatives overseen by the Emirate. The presentation included an explanation of vital programs and projects aimed at enhancing comprehensive development in the region, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which seeks to leverage the comparative advantages of each region, whether agricultural, renewable energy, or logistical, to maximize national benefit.

High-level attendance

The meeting was attended by a select group of security leaders and officials, headed by His Royal Highness Prince Mutaib bin Mishaal bin Badr bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Al-Jawf Region; Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Battal, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior; and Lieutenant General Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Bassami, Director of Public Security. Also present were Major General Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Arwan, Director General of the Minister's Office for Studies and Research; Major General Shaye bin Salem Al-Wadaani, Director General of the Border Guard; Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Rabeeah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Regional Affairs; and a number of other senior officials, reflecting the great importance the Ministry places on these field visits.
