The Crown Prince chairs the Cabinet meeting and commends the response to national initiatives

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, chaired the Cabinet meeting held in Jeddah. The Cabinet began its session by reviewing the overall domestic situation and following up on the progress of several development and service-related projects, reflecting the wise leadership's ongoing commitment to addressing citizens' needs and improving the quality of services provided to them.
In this context, the Cabinet reviewed several reports related to domestic affairs, noting with great appreciation the widespread public engagement recently witnessed in the Kingdom with various national initiatives. The Cabinet commended this positive movement, which aims to strengthen the values of solidarity and generosity, support charitable work, and maximize its humanitarian and developmental impact across all regions of the Kingdom, affirming that this engagement reflects the true character of Saudi society.
This praise comes at a time when the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is witnessing a qualitative transformation in the charitable and non-profit sector, in line with the objectives of "Saudi Vision 2030." This ambitious vision seeks to increase the non-profit sector's contribution to the GDP and to regulate charitable work through rigorous governance and reliable digital platforms that ensure support reaches those who deserve it easily and transparently, thus encouraging all segments of society, individuals, and companies to actively contribute.
This interaction carries profound implications regarding the strength of the social fabric in the Kingdom, where the values of generosity and giving are an integral part of Saudi identity and deeply rooted Islamic culture. Recent national initiatives have contributed to channeling these values towards sustainable development projects that go beyond immediate aid to empower beneficiaries and provide housing, education, and healthcare solutions, thereby enhancing social stability and improving quality of life indicators.
The Cabinet's attention to this matter also underscores the paramount importance the state places on strengthening partnerships between the public, private, and third (non-profit) sectors. Continuous government support, whether through regulatory legislation or direct leadership patronage, has been a major catalyst for the success of national campaigns and humanitarian initiatives, making the Kingdom a leading model in institutional humanitarian work at both the regional and international levels.
The Council concluded its discussion of this item by emphasizing the continued support and empowerment of all sincere national efforts, calling for the continuation of this cooperative approach that brings good and benefit to the nation and the citizen, and enhances the Kingdom’s position as a beacon of humanity and giving.
