King Salman Relief Center distributes 4,750 cartons of dates in Hadramawt

As part of the ongoing humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to support the brotherly Yemeni people, the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid to implement its vital food projects, distributing large quantities of dates in Hadramawt Governorate, targeting the most needy families and affected groups in Al-Mukalla and Al-Abr districts.

Details of aid distribution in Mukalla and Al-Abr

The distribution carried out by the center yesterday included 4,750 cartons of dates, geographically divided to ensure the aid reached those in need. In Al-Mukalla district , 2,200 cartons of dates were distributed, benefiting 13,200 individuals from families residing in the area. Simultaneously, Al-Abr district the distribution of 2,550 cartons of dates, covering the needs of 15,300 individuals, bringing the total number of beneficiaries in both districts to 28,500.

This aid is part of the 2026 Dates Distribution Project in the Republic of Yemen, which is itself part of a series of food security projects undertaken by the Center. This project aims to bridge the food gap and provide for the basic needs of Yemeni families, especially given the difficult economic and living conditions the country is experiencing.
