The sixth national campaign for charitable work has been launched via the Ihsan platform

With the gracious approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may God protect him, the sixth edition of the National Charity Campaign was launched this Friday evening through the national charity platform "Ihsan." This launch comes as an extension of the ongoing royal patronage of the charitable sector and the wise leadership's keenness to maximize the impact of giving and facilitate its means for citizens and residents during the blessed month of Ramadan, seeking reward and divine favor.
A remarkable journey of digital contribution
This campaign builds upon the significant successes achieved by the "Ihsan" platform since its inception, marking a qualitative leap in the concept of digital donations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. With the support of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), the platform has successfully unified charitable efforts and connected donors directly with those most in need through official and reliable channels. These national campaigns are annual occasions for community solidarity, with previous editions witnessing record participation and billions in donations, reflecting the strong bonds within Saudi society.
Supporting leadership and empowering the non-profit sector
Commenting on the event, the CEO of the Ihsan platform, Engineer Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Husseini, affirmed that the timing of the campaign during the holy month of Ramadan reinforces the values of giving and generosity. He expressed his appreciation for the unlimited support the platform receives from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman – may God protect them both. He noted that this support has enabled the platform to operate according to the highest standards of governance and transparency, thus strengthening confidence in institutional charitable work.
The campaign plays a pivotal role in achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which seeks to increase the contribution of the non-profit sector to the GDP and promote a culture of social responsibility. By leveraging advanced technologies, "Ihsan" provides diverse donation opportunities encompassing health, education, social services, and relief efforts, in addition to the "Ihsan Endowment Fund," which ensures the sustainability of charitable giving.
High reliability and broad community engagement
The "Ihsan" platform is distinguished by its operation under the supervision of a Sharia committee to ensure all its activities comply with Islamic law, along with the application of advanced digital governance that guarantees donations reach their intended recipients accurately and securely. Al-Husseini called upon all segments of society—individuals, businesspeople, and governmental and private entities—to participate in this national campaign, praising the generous contributions made by benefactors in previous campaigns, which have made a tangible difference in the lives of millions of beneficiaries.
Those wishing to contribute to the campaign can donate throughout the holy month via the "Ihsan" electronic platform application and website, or through the unified number 8001247000, and the designated bank accounts, to participate in this great good.
