The Ministry of Communications launches the Technical Competencies Forum to empower youth

The Ministry of Communications launched the “Technical Competencies Forum” through an advanced virtual platform, in a step aimed at empowering talents and linking them directly to quality job opportunities available in the communications and information technology sector, in addition to raising the level of practical and professional qualification of job seekers in line with the changing market requirements.
An interactive platform to connect talent with the job market
The forum serves as a vital bridge, connecting leading local and international technology companies with job seekers in a comprehensive digital environment. Its role extends beyond mere recruitment, encompassing interactive workshops and specialized career guidance sessions. These sessions aim to refine participants' technical and soft skills, fostering direct communication between national talent and private sector employers, thereby facilitating recruitment processes and increasing job placement opportunities.
Keeping pace with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and digital transformation
The launch of this forum comes as an extension of the Ministry’s tireless efforts to support human capital, which is the cornerstone of the Human Capability Development Program, one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. Through these initiatives, the Kingdom seeks to bridge the gap between education outputs and the needs of the digital labor market, especially in the fields of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and data analytics, which are areas that are witnessing increasing global and local demand.
Building a sustainable digital economy
Encouraging the participation of national talent in the promising technology sector directly contributes to building a sustainable, knowledge-based digital economy. The Kingdom's communications and information technology sector is the largest and fastest-growing in the Middle East and North Africa region, making it a key driver of job creation and diversification of national income sources away from oil. Through these forums, the Ministry is working to localize technology not only in terms of hardware and software, but also by cultivating the knowledge and minds capable of innovation and development.
The ministry called on all those interested in benefiting from the job and training opportunities offered by the forum to visit the virtual platform, view the schedule of available programs and workshops and register for them via this link , stressing the importance of investing in this opportunity to develop one's career path in one of the most vital sectors.
