The Minister of Interior performs the funeral prayer for Lieutenant General Saeed Al-Qahtani

His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, performed the funeral prayer after the afternoon prayer today for the late Lieutenant General Saeed bin Abdullah Al-Qahtani, Assistant Minister of Interior for Operations Affairs, at the King Khalid Mosque in Riyadh, amidst a large official and popular presence that reflects the status of the deceased.

Following the prayer, His Highness the Minister of Interior conveyed the condolences and sympathy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister - may God protect them - to the sons and relatives of the deceased, asking God Almighty to have mercy on him and grant him His pleasure, to place him in His spacious Paradise, and to inspire his family and relatives with patience and solace in this great tragedy.

The passing of Lieutenant General Saeed Al-Qahtani is a great loss to the nation's security establishment.
