Minister of Islamic Affairs: We are consolidating moderation and developing the Quran Complex
His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, and General Supervisor of the King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Qur’an, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh, affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues its global leadership in serving Islam and Muslims, noting that the Ministry plays a pivotal and decisive role in promoting the concepts of moderation and combating extremism and fanaticism in all its forms.
This came during an inspection visit by His Excellency to the headquarters of the King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Qur’an in Madinah, where he reviewed the progress of work and followed up on the latest development projects that the complex is witnessing, accompanied by a group of ministry undersecretaries and department directors, in a step that reflects the interest of the wise leadership - may God protect it - in taking care of the Book of God Almighty in printing, publishing and teaching.

In discussing the significance of this visit, it's worth noting that the King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Quran in Madinah is one of the most important Islamic landmarks, providing invaluable services to Muslims worldwide. Since its establishment, the Complex has undertaken the responsibility of printing the Holy Quran according to the highest standards of accuracy and quality, and translating its meanings into dozens of international languages, thus becoming the primary and most reliable source of Qurans in the Islamic world. The Minister's visit underscores the continuation and development of this approach to keep pace with modern technological advancements.

Dr. Al-Sheikh explained that the Ministry does not limit itself to its traditional role, but rather adopts a comprehensive strategy to spread the values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence derived from the magnanimity of Islam. He pointed out that the Ministry implements a range of specialized programs, including local and international Quranic competitions, scientific conferences, and intellectual seminars, all aimed at protecting youth from alien ideologies and consolidating the Kingdom's approach based on moderation, thus strengthening Saudi Arabia's position as the beating heart of the Islamic world and a trusted religious authority.
Digital transformation and keeping pace with Vision 2030
During his tour of the complex, His Excellency the Minister was briefed on the modern production lines and advanced technologies used in printing and editing. He held an extensive meeting with complex officials to discuss future plans aligned with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. Discussions focused on enhancing production efficiency, expanding e-publishing projects, and launching smart applications that will allow Muslims worldwide to access reliable copies of the Holy Quran and its interpretations via smart devices.
His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs concluded his visit by praising the professional efforts made by the employees of the complex, stressing that the generous support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Crown Prince is the main driver of these great achievements that serve the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Prophet, and spread the message of peace and goodness to the whole world.
