Today, the move towards vertical construction is an ingenious engineering solution to accommodate increasing numbers. This transformation represents a necessary response to ensure pilgrim comfort and provide additional space without compromising the legal boundaries of the area, reflecting the ongoing development in the management of the holy sites.

Details of the Rabieh Kadana project

The project, developed by Kadana Development and Investment Company (the executive arm of the Royal Commission for Makkah City and the Holy Sites) in collaboration with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and Ithraa Hospitality Holding Company, represents a sophisticated residential environment that adheres to the highest standards of privacy and comfort. The project comprises eight modern, two-story buildings, spanning a total area exceeding 33,000 square meters, thus enhancing the efficient use of space within the Holy Sites.

To ensure the operational sites are fully and promptly ready, the project work has been divided into precise phases that include:

  • Phase One: This phase includes the construction of 3 buildings and the operation of 37% of the capacity during the Hajj season of 1446 AH.
  • Phase Two: The project will be completed 100% to utilize its full capacity during the Hajj season of 1447 AH.
