The Governor of Riyadh performs funeral prayers for Prince Bandar bin Abdullah and Princess Moudi

In a solemn and faithful scene reflecting the values of solidarity and compassion that characterize Saudi society and the noble royal family, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, performed the funeral prayer after the afternoon prayer today for the late Prince Bandar bin Abdullah Al Abdulrahman Al Saud and Princess Moudi bint Abdullah bin Fahd bin Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, may God have mercy on them both.
The prayer was held at the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in the heart of the capital, Riyadh. This mosque holds great historical and religious symbolism, as it is the most prominent Islamic landmark in the region and a permanent venue for official events and major prayers that bring together rulers and citizens, thus giving the event a deep national and social dimension that embodies unity.
The funeral prayer was attended by a large number of princes and senior officials, all of whom came to offer their condolences, reflecting the deep family and social bonds. Alongside His Royal Highness the Governor of Riyadh, the prayer was led by several prominent figures, including His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, His Highness Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulrahman, His Highness Prince Khalid bin Musaed bin Abdulrahman, and His Royal Highness Prince Mutaib bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, in addition to the advisors to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz.
Also participating in the prayer were the Special Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force, His Royal Highness Lieutenant General Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, highlighting the participation of various military and civilian leaders in this time of grief. A large number of other princes were also present, including Prince Abdulrahman bin Fahd bin Faisal, Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed, Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunayan, Prince Nawaf bin Mohammed bin Abdullah, Prince Sultan bin Saud bin Abdullah, and Prince Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Abdulrahman.
Among the princes who attended the funeral prayer and offered their condolences were: Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Abdullah, Prince Bandar bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki, Prince Bandar bin Abdullah bin Nasser, and Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Dr. Abdulaziz bin Sattam bin Abdulaziz. Also present were Prince Mohammed bin Saad bin Khalid, Prince Mohammed bin Faisal bin Bandar, Prince Ahmed bin Khalid bin Abdullah, the Governor of Hafr Al-Batin, Prince Abdulrahman bin Abdullah bin Faisal, Prince Saad bin Abdulrahman bin Saad, Prince Fawaz bin Abdullah bin Abdulrahman, and Prince Abdullah bin Mutaib bin Abdullah.
The families of the deceased were present to receive condolences, and the funeral prayer was led by the sons and relatives of the departed, including Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdullah Al Abdulrahman, Prince Salman bin Bandar bin Abdullah, Prince Mohammed bin Bandar bin Abdullah, Prince Khalid bin Abdullah bin Fahd, Prince Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Fahd, Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Fahd, Prince Sultan bin Abdullah bin Fahd, and Prince Fahd bin Abdullah bin Fahd. All prayed to God Almighty to grant the deceased His abundant mercy and forgiveness, to admit them to His spacious Paradise, and to grant their families and loved ones patience and solace.
