The role of the National Center for Meteorology and the importance of data
The National Center for Meteorology is the official body authorized to monitor weather and climate in the Kingdom. This daily data is of paramount importance not only to citizens and residents for planning their daily lives and outdoor activities, but also to vital sectors such as air and sea navigation, agriculture, and the management of events and tourism seasons. The Center relies on a sophisticated network of radars and monitoring stations, precisely distributed to cover the Kingdom's vast area, ensuring accurate forecasts and early warnings in cases of weather fluctuations.
