The wise leadership emphasizes the priority of national security

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, chaired the regular session of the Council of Ministers, held in Jeddah. This session comes within the framework of the wise leadership's continuous monitoring of internal and external affairs, and its constant commitment to strengthening the comprehensive development process and providing a decent standard of living for citizens and residents.

At the outset of the session, the Saudi Cabinet reaffirmed unequivocally that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will never hesitate to take all necessary measures to protect its national security, preserve its stability, and ensure the safety of its citizens and residents. Within this strategic framework, the Cabinet commended the high level of readiness and advanced capabilities of the Saudi Armed Forces across all branches, and their heroic role in defending the homeland and safeguarding its achievements and resources.

The regional and international context of the Kingdom's stability

Historically, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been a cornerstone of stability and security in the Middle East. These pronouncements are particularly significant given the geopolitical challenges facing the region and the world. Domestically, these messages reassure the public and underscore the leadership's commitment to prioritizing human security. Regionally and internationally, the Kingdom's stability positively impacts global energy markets and maritime security, making Saudi Arabia's security an integral part of international peace and security.

Exceptional preparations for the Hajj season and the program to serve the guests of God

On another note, the Cabinet reviewed the implementation of the strategic and operational plans prepared for this year's Hajj season (1447 AH). The Cabinet also reviewed the tangible achievements made within the framework of the "Guests of God Service Program," which is one of the most important programs of Saudi Vision 2030. The importance of continuous integration and coordination among the various government agencies and relevant sectors was emphasized to ensure the smooth flow of operations.

The Hajj and Umrah system is working together to develop all services provided to pilgrims to the Holy Mosque in Mecca, by harnessing all available human, technological, and organizational resources in Mecca, the Holy Sites, and Medina. Recent years have witnessed an unprecedented surge in the use of modern technologies and artificial intelligence to facilitate Hajj rituals, in addition to massive infrastructure projects such as the expansion of the Two Holy Mosques and the Haramain High-Speed Railway. All these efforts contribute directly to enhancing operational readiness and providing the highest levels of comfort and peace of mind for pilgrims coming from within the Kingdom and from around the world, reflecting the Kingdom's leading Islamic role in managing the world's largest human gathering with efficiency and competence.
