Jeddah Municipality shuts down a bakery in Dhahban and destroys spoiled food

This operation resulted in the immediate closure of the site and the destruction of large quantities of food unfit for human consumption.

The head of the Dhahban sub-municipality, Abdullah Mubarak, explained that intensive field inspections led to the discovery of an unlicensed bakery operating without the necessary permits. The raid uncovered a number of serious violations, most notably the employment of undocumented workers lacking health certificates proving they were free of contagious diseases, in addition to the extremely poor hygiene at the site, which failed to meet even the most basic health standards.
The municipality confiscated and destroyed all the seized quantities, amounting to 102 kilograms of food and preparation supplies that showed signs of damage and spoilage, while applying strict regulatory procedures against those in charge of this unregulated factory.
