The Women's Affairs Plan at the Grand Mosque during Ramadan: 24 Quality Initiatives

The Women's Affairs Agency at the Grand Mosque announced its readiness to welcome the holy month of Ramadan, unveiling a comprehensive strategic plan that includes launching 24 high-quality initiatives across six main tracks. This step comes as part of ongoing efforts to enhance the services provided to female visitors to the Grand Mosque and ensure a comfortable and spiritually enriching environment befitting the sanctity of the place and the significance of the time.
These preparations are particularly significant within the broader context of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts to serve the Two Holy Mosques, as women's services at the Grand Mosque have witnessed unprecedented qualitative development in recent years. These initiatives align with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, specifically the "Serving the Guests of God" program, which aims to enrich the religious and cultural experience of pilgrims and visitors, and empower women to perform their religious duties with ease and comfort, while ensuring their privacy and providing them with the necessary care.
The announced plan aims to maximize the spiritual and intellectual impact on female visitors by promoting sound Islamic principles and ethical conduct. The six tracks are designed to cover all aspects of the visitor's journey, from awareness and guidance to academic and educational matters, and finally to enrichment, volunteering, and women's empowerment. The plan also places significant emphasis on public relations and institutional communication, as well as development and quality, to ensure the sustainability of services and effectively measure their impact.
At both the regional and international levels, this organizational initiative reflects the Kingdom's leading role in the care of Islamic holy sites, as the Grand Mosque is expected to witness a high volume of visitors from across the Muslim world during the holy month. These specialized women's initiatives contribute to presenting a positive and civilized image of crowd management and religious services, thus reinforcing the Kingdom's position as a hub for the Muslim world and a guardian of Muslim affairs.
The agency affirmed that this plan is an extension of the tireless efforts of the General Presidency for Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque to enhance the scholarly and guidance role of women and to provide enriching programs that address the religious and organizational needs of female visitors. Through this integrated system, the agency seeks to achieve a lasting religious and intellectual impact and to implement the highest standards of quality and institutional excellence in all services provided during the blessed month of Ramadan.
