NHC توقع مذكرة تفاهم مع الشركة الفرنسية EDF لحلول الطاقة على هامش اجتماع الطاولة المستديرة السعودي – الفرنسي للاستثمار
وقّعت NHC مذكرة تفاهم مع الشركة الفرنسية EDF لحلول الطاقة، وذلك على هامش اجتماع الطاولة المستديرة السعودي – الفرنسي للاستثمار، الذي جمع نخبة من القيادات والمستثمرين وصنّاع القرار، وذلك خلال زيارة ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبد العزيز آل سعود إلى الجمهورية الفرنسية.
وتمثل المذكرة امتدادًا لدور NHC في دعم تنمية العلاقات الاقتصادية الدولية وتعزيز فرص الاستثمار والشراكات النوعية، بالتنسيق مع وزارة الاستثمار والهيئة السعودية لتسويق الاستثمار. كما تهدف إلى وضع الأطر والمبادئ الأساسية للتعاون المستقبلي بين الطرفين بما يحقق الأهداف المشتركة ويخدم مصالحهما، في مجالات الأرصدة الكربونية، وحلول الطاقة والإنارة، والبنية التحتية الكهربائية، والطاقة الشمسية، والاستثمار في محطات الشحن الكهربائية في الأماكن العامة.
وتشمل مجالات التعاون رفع كفاءة استهلاك الطاقة وخفض تكاليف التشغيل، وتطوير البنية التحتية الكهربائية ومشاريع الطاقة الشمسية في وجهات NHC ومرافقها وأصولها، إلى جانب التوسع في محطات الشحن الكهربائية في الأماكن العامة وتعزيز جاهزية الوجهات، فضلاً عن تحديد وتوثيق الأرصدة الكربونية الناتجة عن مشاريع الشركة، وبناء قاعدة بيانات دقيقة للبصمة الكربونية، ودراسة جدوى الفرص الاستثمارية في هذا المجال.
وشارك الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة NHC الأستاذ محمد بن صالح البطي في اجتماع الطاولة المستديرة السعودي – الفرنسي للاستثمار، إلى جانب نخبة من القيادات السعودية والمستثمرين وصنّاع القرار من البلدين، بهدف استعراض الفرص الاستثمارية في قطاع الإسكان والتطوير العقاري، وبحث آفاق الشراكة مع الجانب الفرنسي في مجالات الطاقة والاستدامة والبنية التحتية، بما يعزز حضور NHC في المشهد الاستثماري الدولي.
وتجسد مشاريع NHC توجه الشركة نحو تطوير وجهات عمرانية متكاملة على أرض الواقع، ترتكز على جودة الحياة، وتوفر حلولاً سكنية متنوعة تلبي تطلعات الأسر، ضمن جهودها المستمرة لدعم مستهدفات برنامج الإسكان ورؤية السعودية 2030، فيما تستهدف الشركة الوصول إلى 600 ألف وحدة سكنية بحلول عام 2030.
NHC signed a memorandum of understanding with the French company EDF for energy solutions, on the sidelines of the Saudi-French roundtable meeting for investment, which brought together a select group of leaders, investors, and decision-makers during the visit of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the French Republic.
The memorandum represents an extension of NHC’s role in supporting the development of international economic relations and enhancing investment opportunities and quality partnerships, in coordination with the Ministry of Investment and the Saudi Investment Marketing Authority. It also aims to establish the frameworks and fundamental principles for future cooperation between the two parties to achieve common goals and serve their interests in the areas of carbon credits, energy and lighting solutions, electrical infrastructure, solar energy, and investment in public charging stations.
The areas of cooperation include improving energy consumption efficiency and reducing operating costs, developing electrical infrastructure and solar energy projects in NHC’s destinations, facilities, and assets, as well as expanding public charging stations and enhancing the readiness of the destinations. Additionally, it involves identifying and documenting the carbon credits resulting from the company’s projects, building an accurate database of the carbon footprint, and conducting feasibility studies for investment opportunities in this field.
The CEO of NHC, Mr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Batti, participated in the Saudi-French roundtable meeting for investment, alongside a select group of Saudi leaders, investors, and decision-makers from both countries, with the aim of showcasing investment opportunities in the housing and real estate development sector and exploring partnership prospects with the French side in the fields of energy, sustainability, and infrastructure, thereby enhancing NHC’s presence in the international investment scene.
NHC’s projects embody the company’s direction towards developing integrated urban destinations in reality, focusing on quality of life, and providing diverse housing solutions that meet the aspirations of families, as part of its ongoing efforts to support the objectives of the housing program and Saudi Vision 2030, with the company targeting the completion of 600,000 housing units by 2030.
