أعلن نادي نهضة بركان المغربي، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، تعاقده مع مدرب منتخب الرأس الأخضر بيدرو بريتو، الشهير بـ«بوبيستا»، لتولي قيادة الفريق الأول لكرة القدم، خلفاً للمدرب التونسي معين الشعباني.
وقال النادي في بيان عبر حساباته الرسمية على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي: «تعاقد نادي نهضة بركان رسمياً مع المدرب بيدرو بريتو «بوبيستا» للإشراف على تدريب الفريق الأول، بعقد يمتد لموسمين، بعد نجاح تجربته السابقة رفقة منتخب بلاده الرأس الأخضر».
وأضاف البيان: «يأتي هذا التعاقد في إطار مواصلة المشروع الرياضي للنادي، وتعزيز طموحاته التنافسية على المستويين الوطني والقاري، بالاعتماد على كفاءة تقنية وتجربة مميزة في كرة القدم العالمية، خصوصاً الأفريقية، مع منح الفرصة لمواهبنا الشابة المتألقة وتعزيز حضورها».
إنجاز مونديالي
وكان بوبيستا قد قاد منتخب الرأس الأخضر للتأهل إلى كأس العالم 2026 للمرة الأولى في تاريخ «القروش الزرقاء»، قبل أن يواصل صناعة التاريخ خلال البطولة بعبور دور المجموعات.
وودع منتخب الرأس الأخضر منافسات المونديال بصعوبة بعد الخسارة أمام الأرجنتين بنتيجة 3-2 في دور الـ32، خلال مباراة امتدت إلى الأشواط الإضافية.
The Moroccan club Nahdet Berkane announced today (Tuesday) that it has signed a contract with the coach of the Cape Verde national team, Pedro Brito, known as “Bubista,” to take over the management of the first football team, succeeding the Tunisian coach Moein Chaabani.
The club stated in a statement through its official accounts on social media: “Nahdet Berkane has officially signed with coach Pedro Brito ‘Bubista’ to oversee the training of the first team, with a contract extending for two seasons, following his successful previous experience with his national team, Cape Verde.”
The statement added: “This contract comes as part of the club’s ongoing sports project and to enhance its competitive ambitions at both the national and continental levels, relying on technical competence and distinguished experience in global football, especially African football, while providing opportunities for our outstanding young talents and enhancing their presence.”
World Cup Achievement
Bubista had led the Cape Verde national team to qualify for the 2026 World Cup for the first time in the history of the “Blue Sharks,” before continuing to make history during the tournament by advancing past the group stage.
The Cape Verde national team exited the World Cup competition with difficulty after losing to Argentina 3-2 in the Round of 32, during a match that extended into extra time.
