وكتب وزير الخارجية الباكستاني إسحاق دار في منشور على منصة إكس، أن 3 مواطنين باكستانيين لقوا حتفهم وأُصيب واحد جرّاء هذا الهجوم، غداة إعلان خفر السواحل اليمنيين أن 6 أشخاص على الأقل قُتلوا في استهداف الحوثيين المدعومين من إيران سفينة شحن قرب مضيق باب المندب قبالة الساحل الجنوبي لليمن، بينهم 4 من أفراد الطاقم، هم 3 باكستانيين وإندونيسي، إضافة إلى اثنين من منتسبي القوات المسلحة التي شاركت في عملية إنقاذ لإجلاء طاقم السفينة.
