توفي خورخي ميسي، والد النجم الأرجنتيني ليونيل ميسي ووكيل أعماله، عن عمر ناهز 68 عامًا، في أحد المستشفيات بمدينة روزاريو الأرجنتينية، بعد صراع طويل مع المرض.
وأفادت تقارير أرجنتينية، نقلًا عن صحيفة «إنفوباي» بأن خورخي ميسي فارق الحياة مساء الجمعة، نحو الساعة العاشرة ليلًا، داخل إحدى العيادات في روزاريو، مسقط رأس نجله، بعد تدهور حالته الصحية خلال الفترة الأخيرة.
وتأتي وفاة خورخي ميسي بعد أسابيع من خضوعه لمتابعة طبية بسبب أزمة صحية كانت عائلته قد أكدت في يونيو الماضي أنها تتطلب رعاية ومتابعة طبية، مع التشديد آنذاك على خصوصية حالته الصحية ورفض التكهنات بشأنها.
