اختتمت مساء أمس (الجمعة) فعاليات اليوم الأول من منافسات الجولة الأولى لبطولة السعودية تويوتا كسر الزمن 2026، التي تقام على حلبة كورنيش جدة، بإشراف الاتحاد السعودي للسيارات والدراجات النارية.
وكان برنامج الجولة قد انطلق الخميس بإجراءات التدقيق الإداري والفحص الفني للسيارات المشاركة، للتحقق من استيفائها المتطلبات الفنية ومعايير السلامة المعتمدة، إلى جانب جلسة تصوير السائقين. وبلغ عدد المسجلين في الجولة الأولى 107 متسابقين ومتسابقات، فيما اجتاز 74 منهم إجراءات الفحص الفني، استعداداً لخوض المنافسات ضمن 11 فئة إضافة إلى كأس السيدات.
وشهدت فعاليات أمس (الجمعة) عقد الاجتماع الإلزامي للسائقين عند الساعة الخامسة مساءً، بحضور مسؤولي السباق والحكام، لاستعراض التعليمات واللوائح المنظمة للمنافسات، قبل انطلاق التجارب الحرة عند الساعة السادسة مساءً، بواقع جلسة واحدة لكل فئة. ومنحت التجارب الحرة السائقين فرصة التعرف بصورة أكبر على المسار، واختبار جاهزية سياراتهم، والعمل على ضبط نقاط الكبح واختيار المسار المناسب.
وتتواصل منافسات الجولة اليوم (السبت) بانطلاق السباق الأول عند الساعة الرابعة عصراً، يليه السباق الثاني عند الساعة 7:45 مساءً، إذ يسعى كل متسابق إلى تسجيل أفضل زمن ممكن، فيما يُحدد ترتيب الفائزين في كل فئة وفق أسرع زمن يُسجل خلال جلستي السباق. وتُختتم منافسات الجولة عند الساعة الـ12 منتصف الليل بحفل التتويج وتكريم الفائزين في مختلف الفئات.
وتُعد بطولة كسر الزمن منافسة فردية تقام على مسار محدد داخل الحلبة، ويهدف خلالها كل متسابق إلى تسجيل أسرع زمن ممكن، مع الالتزام بالمسار وقواعد السلامة، فيما يُحدد ترتيب المشاركين وفق الأزمنة المسجلة، وليس بناءً على مراكز الانطلاق أو التجاوزات.
The first day of the Saudi Toyota Time Attack Championship 2026, held at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit under the supervision of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, concluded yesterday evening (Friday).
The round’s program began on Thursday with administrative checks and technical inspections of the participating cars to ensure they meet the technical requirements and approved safety standards, along with a photo session for the drivers. A total of 107 competitors registered for the first round, with 74 of them passing the technical inspection, preparing to compete in 11 categories in addition to the Ladies’ Cup.
Yesterday’s (Friday) events included a mandatory drivers’ meeting at 5 PM, attended by race officials and judges, to review the instructions and regulations governing the competitions, before the free practice sessions began at 6 PM, with one session for each category. The free practice sessions provided drivers with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the track, test their cars’ readiness, adjust braking points, and choose the appropriate racing line.
The competition continues today (Saturday) with the first race starting at 4 PM, followed by the second race at 7:45 PM, as each competitor aims to record the best possible time, while the winners’ rankings in each category are determined based on the fastest times recorded during the two racing sessions. The round will conclude at midnight with a prize-giving ceremony honoring the winners in various categories.
