علمت «عكاظ» من مصادرها أن مدرب المنتخب السعودي جورجيوس دونيس سيعلن مطلع سبتمبر القادم عن قائمة أسماء اللاعبين الذين سينضمون لمعسكر «الأخضر» الإعدادي في جدة، من أجل المشاركة في بطولة كأس الخليج العربي (خليجي 27)، التي تستضيفها جدة خلال الفترة من 23 سبتمبر إلى 6 أكتوبر القادم.
وكان المدرب دونيس طلب تمديد معسكر «الأخضر» الإعدادي بجدة لمدة سبعة أيام إضافية قبل انطلاق بطولة «خليجي 27» القادمة، لينطلق المعسكر في العاشر من سبتمبر القادم، عوضاً عن الموعد السابق الذي كان في 17 سبتمبر، مما يتطلب تعديل وتأجيل منافسات الجولة الثامنة من دوري روشن للمحترفين، لتفادي ضغط الروزنامة.
هذا ويراقب المدرب دونيس ومساعدوه مباريات دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين، ويهدف مدرب الأخضر لمتابعة اللاعبين الذين ينوي استدعاءهم للمشاركة في بطولة (خليجي 27) القادمة.
ويطمح المدرب دونيس لقيادة «الأخضر» لتحقيق كأس «خليجي 27» خصوصاً أنها تقام على أرضه وبين جماهيره.
“Okaz” learned from its sources that the Saudi national team coach Georgios Donis will announce at the beginning of September the list of players who will join the “Green” training camp in Jeddah, in preparation for participating in the Gulf Cup (Gulf 27), which will be hosted in Jeddah from September 23 to October 6.
Coach Donis had requested to extend the “Green” training camp in Jeddah for an additional seven days before the start of the upcoming “Gulf 27” tournament, moving the camp to start on September 10 instead of the previous date of September 17, which requires adjustments and postponements of the eighth round matches of the Roshen Professional League to avoid a congested schedule.
Moreover, Coach Donis and his assistants are monitoring the matches of the Saudi Roshen Professional League, aiming to follow up on the players he intends to call up for participation in the upcoming (Gulf 27) tournament.
Coach Donis aspires to lead the “Green” to win the “Gulf 27” Cup, especially since it is being held on home ground and among his fans.
