نفى نادي إيه سي ميلان الإيطالي الشائعات التي تداولتها مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي بشأن وفاة قائده الأسطوري السابق فرانكو باريزي، البالغ من العمر 66 عاماً.
وكان باريزي قد خضع قبل نحو عام لعملية جراحية لاستئصال ورم في الرئة، ليبدأ بعدها معركته مع المرض، وفي وقت متأخر من الليلة الماضية، انتشرت شائعات عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي تزعم وفاة أسطورة ميلان.
بيان ميلان
وقال النادي في بيان: «ينفي نادي إيه سي ميلان الشائعات الكاذبة التي انتشرت أخيراً بشأن فرانكو باريزي، يمر فرانكو بظروف صعبة، ويقف النادي إلى جانبه وعائلته بكل محبة».
وأضاف البيان: «نحث الجميع على احترام خصوصيته وعدم المساهمة في نشر معلومات لا أساس لها من الصحة».
مسيرة أسطورية
ولم يلعب باريزي طوال مسيرته الاحترافية سوى بقميص ميلان، إذ تدرج في أكاديمية الشباب قبل أن يمثل الفريق الأول بين عامي 1977 و1997.
وخلال مسيرته، خاض المدافع السابق 716 مباراة بقميص ميلان، وسجل 33 هدفاً، وقدم 24 تمريرة حاسمة، كما توج بثلاثة ألقاب في دوري أبطال أوروبا، وستة ألقاب في الدوري الإيطالي، وأربعة ألقاب في كأس السوبر الإيطالي، ولقبين في كأس الإنتركونتيننتال، وثلاثة ألقاب في كأس السوبر الأوروبي.
وفي أكتوبر 2020، تولى باريزي منصب نائب الرئيس الفخري لنادي ميلان، وذلك بعد أن شغل عدة مناصب أخرى داخل النادي، من بينها العمل مدرباً في أكاديمية الشباب.
AC Milan has denied the rumors circulating on social media regarding the death of its legendary former captain Franco Baresi, who is 66 years old.
Baresi underwent surgery about a year ago to remove a lung tumor, after which he began his battle with illness. Late last night, rumors spread on social media claiming the death of the Milan legend.
Milan’s Statement
The club stated in a statement: “AC Milan denies the false rumors that have recently circulated about Franco Baresi. Franco is going through a difficult time, and the club stands by him and his family with love.”
The statement added: “We urge everyone to respect his privacy and not to contribute to the spread of unfounded information.”
Legendary Career
Baresi played his entire professional career wearing the Milan jersey, having progressed through the youth academy before representing the first team from 1977 to 1997.
During his career, the former defender played 716 matches for Milan, scoring 33 goals and providing 24 assists. He also won three UEFA Champions League titles, six Serie A titles, four Italian Super Cups, two Intercontinental Cups, and three UEFA Super Cups.
In October 2020, Baresi took on the role of honorary vice president of AC Milan, after having held several other positions within the club, including working as a coach in the youth academy.
