وأوردت قناة “جيو نيوز” الإخبارية التلفزيونية أن الهجوم وقع في إقليم هنغو بولاية خيبر بختونخوا الحدودية في شمال البلاد، وذلك نقلا عن مسؤول الشرطة في الإقليم طارق حبيب.
وقال حبيب إن 22 عنصرا آخر من الشرطة أُصيبوا في الهجوم، وأعلن بدء عملية تمشيط في المنطقة.
