In a related development, 12 people were injured Tuesday evening in two cities near Tel Aviv in the occupied territories as a result of Iranian missile strikes, according to the Israeli ambulance service.
A statement from the ambulance service indicated that rescue teams in Bnei Brak were "providing medical treatment and transporting nine injured people" to hospitals, including "a 23-year-old man (...) who was injured by shrapnel."
The service noted that the other eight injured people "sustained minor injuries (...) and included six minors." It also stated that its crews evacuated three people injured in an explosion in Givat Shmuel, a city adjacent to Bnei Brak.
