أعلن نادي برينتفورد الإنجليزي، أمس (الأربعاء)، إنهاء تعاقده مع لاعب وسط الفريق الأول لكرة القدم جوردان هندرسون.

وقال النادي في بيان عبر موقعه الرسمي: «غادر جوردان هندرسون نادي برينتفورد بعد اتفاق ودي لإنهاء عقده».

وشارك لاعب خط الوسط في 34 مباراة بقميص برينتفورد خلال موسم 2025-2026، قبل أن يشارك مع منتخب إنجلترا في كأس العالم 2026، ليصبح أول لاعب إنجليزي يشارك في سبع بطولات كبرى.

من جانبه، قال هندرسون عقب إنهاء عقده: «أغادر برينتفورد وأنا ممتن للغاية للفرصة التي منحني إياها النادي، وللدعم والرعاية اللذين قدمهما لي ولعائلتي منذ اليوم الأول. كانت العودة إلى الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز مهمة للغاية بالنسبة لي، وقد منحني برينتفورد تلك الفرصة، وسأظل ممتناً لذلك دائماً».
وأضاف: «أتمنى أن أكون قد ساهمت في مساعدة الفريق خلال فترة مهمة للنادي، لقد حققنا الكثير معاً الموسم الماضي، وهو أمر يجب أن يفخر به كل من شارك فيه».
اتفاق مع تشيلسي
وبحسب تقارير صحفية، فإن تشيلسي توصل إلى اتفاق مع هندرسون، البالغ من العمر 36 عاماً، للتعاقد معه، بقرار من المدرب تشابي ألونسو.

The midfielder participated in 34 matches wearing the Brentford jersey during the 2025-2026 season, before playing with the England national team in the 2026 World Cup, becoming the first English player to participate in seven major tournaments.

For his part, Henderson said after the termination of his contract: “I leave Brentford feeling extremely grateful for the opportunity the club has given me, and for the support and care they have provided to me and my family since day one. Returning to the Premier League was very important for me, and Brentford gave me that chance, and I will always be thankful for that.”
He added: “I hope I have contributed to helping the team during an important time for the club; we achieved a lot together last season, which is something everyone involved should be proud of.”
Agreement with Chelsea
According to media reports, Chelsea has reached an agreement with Henderson, who is 36 years old, to sign him, at the decision of coach Xabi Alonso.
