
During the year, Madinah topped the Kingdom's cities in terms of hospitality sector occupancy rates
Data from the Kingdom's hospitality sector performance report, issued by the Ministry of Tourism, showed that Madinah achieved the highest occupancy rate of (85.5%), while the lowest occupancy rate was (59.5%) during the year, thus surpassing the average occupancy rate in the Kingdom of about (55%).
Hospitality sector
The average daily price of a hotel room in Madinah was recorded at around (430) riyals, with a price range between a minimum of (285) riyals and a maximum of (866) riyals, while the average price across the Kingdom was around (457) riyals.

In terms of hotel financial performance, the average revenue per available room (RevPAR) in Madinah reached approximately SAR 430, compared to around SAR 321 nationally. This reflects strong demand and stable operating returns in the region's hotel sector.
This advanced performance of Madinah's hospitality sector reflects the continued development of tourism infrastructure and growing investments in accommodation facilities, along with integrated efforts to enhance the experience of visitors and pilgrims. This aligns with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to develop the tourism sector and improve the quality of services provided to pilgrims and visitors to the Prophet's Mosque.
