Al Hilal Club's revenues in 2025: 17% growth and record profits
In a move reflecting the tremendous development witnessed by the sports sector in Saudi Arabia, Al Hilal Club's financial report revealed unprecedented record figures for the 2024-2025 fiscal year, with total revenues reaching SAR 1.27 billion. This financial leap confirms the success of the club's investment strategies, surpassing the previous year's revenues of SAR 1.09 billion (2023-2024), registering a remarkable growth rate of 17%.
Profit and business returns growth
The report, published by the club on its official X platform, explained that this increase in revenue was accompanied by growth in net profit, which reached 37.8 million riyals, a 13% increase compared to last season. This strong financial performance is mainly attributed to the significant recovery in commercial revenue, which alone reached 505.97 million riyals.
In a related development, sponsorship and strategic partnership revenues saw a 16.5% increase, reflecting the growing market value of the Al Hilal brand both locally and globally. This was clearly demonstrated by the revenue from sponsorship appearances, which jumped to SAR 4.3 billion compared to SAR 3.54 billion in the previous year, highlighting the club's significant appeal to investors and sponsors.
The context of sports transformation in the Kingdom
These figures cannot be viewed in isolation from the radical transformation Saudi sports are undergoing under the umbrella of Vision 2030. Following the privatization of clubs and the Public Investment Fund's acquisition of stakes in major clubs, Saudi clubs have transformed into professional commercial entities competing globally. Al-Hilal is a leading example of this transformation, having successfully attracted international stars and raised the level of competitiveness, which has positively impacted commercial revenues, broadcasting rights, ticket sales, and merchandise.
Executive Management Statements
Commenting on these results, Steve Calzada, CEO of Al Hilal FC, stated: “The 2024-2025 season marked a turning point in the history of the club and Al Hilal FC, a year that cemented Al Hilal’s position as a global sporting force.” Calzada highlighted the team’s exceptional performance in international competitions, including their participation in the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States, emphasizing that Al Hilal had written a memorable chapter in the annals of international football by competing against the world’s elite clubs.
Gold Member Support
Regarding the honorary support of Al Hilal Club's non-profit foundation, Prince Alwaleed bin Talal continued to lead the way with his generous and historic support. The list revealed his contribution of a staggering 213.55 million riyals for the 2024-2025 sports season, a significant difference from the next closest supporter, whose contribution amounted to only one million riyals. This ongoing support strengthens the club's financial stability and enables it to continue competing at all local, continental, and international levels.
