has achieved Arar International Airport Cluster, Airports Level 4+ in the Airports Council International (ACI) Carbon Accreditation, becoming the first airport in the Kingdom to do so. This achievement reflects the airport's ongoing efforts in environmental sustainability.
Level 4+ is the highest level of accreditation, requiring airports to adopt policies and procedures aimed at reducing absolute carbon emissions, in line with best practices and international standards.

It is worth noting that this program, issued by Airports Council International (ACI), is a globally recognized system that awards carbon management certifications. It independently assesses airports' efforts in managing and reducing emissions across seven progressive levels, reflecting each airport's progress on its journey towards net-zero carbon.
